CEGA is seeking nominations for its 2026 Board of Directors. The available positions are: President Elect – who will continue to serve as President in the 2nd year and Past President in the 3rd year. Finance Director Elect – who will continue to serve as Finance Director in the 2nd year. Five Directors at Large – CEGA is seeking five directors to fill portfolios such as Membership, Education, Conferences, and Outreach. Please note that only voting members of CEGA can be nominated. In 1978, The Canadian Energy Geoscience Association (CEGA), previously called Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG), created the CSPG Foundation. The goal of the Foundation is to fund and support educational petroleum geoscience outreach across Canada, such as the Student Industry Field Trip, Student Scholarships, Atlas 2027, and the Alberta Paleontological Society Fund.
